GRAVEL SUNSET

Something I am very grateful for is living on a small piece of paradise. This scene is from my backyard, looking out on Gravel Lake.

I was reading on the evening I took this photo. When the pages of my book started turning pink, I looked up and it was as if the whole interior of my room were on fire! The window just behind me had this sunset pouring through my windows, I almost missed it! I tossed the book, grabbed the camera and the dogs, and we headed out. I had just enough time to take 4 or 5 photos, and a few seconds later it was gone.
I was left there in the dark, just amazed by the most beautiful sunset I think I've ever seen. This photo has VERY LITTLE editing done to it, this was the ACTUAL color of the sky. I cannot stress that enough. This photo is all mother nature, not a computer processor!
